Panoramic views of Sarajevo Valley

There are a lot of places around the capital city Sarajevo where you can get panoramic views of the valley. One of those places is a little coffee shop and restaurant called "Vidikovac" located in a part of the city called Zmajevac. You can get there by car, park, have a drink and enjoy the views. Of course it's best viewed at sunset, but I didn't have such luck. I visited here in midday, when it was very hot, but I still did enjoy it. I hope you will enjoy these panoramic views of Sarajevo.

There were many people already there when my friends and I arrived. It was a Sunday afternoon and the sun shield was much needed protection from the heat of the sun.

From here you can pretty much see all of the major attractions of Sarajevo. The viewpoint is located in the north-east part of the city, so you will mostly see the Old Town of Sarajevo from here and the lower buildings. The newer part of the city and bigger buildings and skyscrapers are located more in the western part of the city.
