I have shown you the capital city of Bosnia and Herzegovina many times on this blog, but I don't think I have shown to you Sarajevo from above. These images were taken from the roof top bar of the Hotel Hecco Deluxe in the city center. You can go up there (it's the 9th floor) and drink your coffee with these amazing views. The weekend was filled with perfect weather which gave some great light for these shots. As you can see there is a lot to discover in Sarajevo and it's a city best explored by foot.
The image above shows the "Marsala Tita" street, that leads you away from the old town of Sarajevo the the more modern parts of the city. From where I was standing, mostly older austro hungarian buildings were dotted on the ground.
After coffee my friends and I went out for lunch in this great little Italian restaurant called "Nostra Cucina". They serve great food, from appetizers, soups, pizzas, entrees, salads, pastas and much more. I had a excellent pasta dish with chicken and mushrooms, the others had a pesto and shrimp risotto and a sea-food pizza.

With full stomachs we returned home, from a wonderful afternoon spent in the city.
